COVID fines have been issued to people coming to Dorset from out of the area.
Dorchester Police issued multiple fines over the weekend whilst conducting patrols at beauty spots around Dorchester.
Officers came across multiple members of the public who had travelled there from outside the area, and therefore fixed penalty notices of £200 were issued.
A spokesman for Dorchester Police said: "Patrols have been conducted at local beauty spots in Dorchester today, we engaged with members of the public, most of whom were local to the Dorchester area.
"Those that weren't we engaged, encouraged and educated but sadly some fines were issued."
