Letter: Upgrading the A354 to a motorway would get Dorset moving
At last light at the end of the tunnel. The Welsh want Stonehenge back. Send it by Deliveroo.
A chance to update the A303 to motorway and just west come off to the south to Wilton then south west of Salisbury, upgrade the A354 to M-way take it north of Dorchester around the new houses and west to Exeter to meet the M5.
A motorway spur over Came Down to meet the Weymouth relief road which could then be extended along Littlesea to Portland to facilitate the traffic for liners, CI ferry, Palm oil depot, and the recycling incinerator.
We could get Dorset moving again with thousands of visitors all travelling at 70mph except for Weymouth where a 20mph limit would apply. Result.
