A WEYMOUTH woman who was charged with allegedly causing unnecessary suffering to animals is set to appear in court.
Deanna Pritchard is alleged to have caused unnecessary suffering to four white rabbits, a grey female cat, three chickens, a Royal python, a corn snake, and a female hamster, Weymouth Magistrates Court heard.
A warrant without bail was made for her arrest on March 5 after she failed to appear in court.
That original warrant without bail issued by Weymouth Magistrates Court was withdrawn by Poole Magistrates Court on March 9.
The Justices then authorised the issue of a court date.
Pritchard will appear at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on April 8.
