A HOME in North Dorset is set to go under the hammer next month for just £100,000.
Pink Cottage, based in Dixon, Sturminster Newton, has been placed on the market for the first time in more than 40 years.
Auctioneers Symonds and Sampson state the end-of-terrace property 'offers buyers a rare chance to renovate a cottage in Sturminster Newton.'
You can view more photos of the property in the above gallery.
The cottage features a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom on its ground floor. Two bedrooms are on its first floor, with a third room that can be turned into another bedroom or an office.
Outside the property, there is a raised yard at the back of the property and two galvanised iron clad sheds.
The cottage has not been occupied for four years and photos of the property shows it is in need of renovation and modernisation.
Auctioneers Symonds and Sampson state the executors need to obtain probate before selling so there may be a delayed completion or the auction may be postponed.
Pink Cottage will be up for sale for public auction on Friday, April 23 from 12.00pm and a livestream will be viewed through this link.
