A MARRIED bus driver died of multiple injures after a motorcycle crash in Poole earlier this month.
Joshua Cartlidge, 21, died on March 15 on the Dorset Way between the Oakdale slip road and the Tower Park roundabout.
The inquest into the death of Mr Cartlidge, of Worbarrow Gardens, opened at Bournemouth Town Hall on Friday.
Coroner’s officer Philippa Morgan said: “Police attended the A3049 following reports of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
“Ambulance attended, the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police attended and confirmed no third party involvement and no suspicious circumstances.”
A post-mortem was undertaken on March 22 and found that Mr Cartlidge died of multiple injuries.
Dorset coroner Rachael Griffin released the body for the purposes of a funeral and adjourned the inquest for a pre-inquest report hearing on August 23, 2021.
Mr Cartlidge’s family described him as “a very loved young man, full of dreams and ambition”.
