A power cut is affecting homes and businesses across parts of Weymouth and Dorchester yesterday.
The power outage was due to a main network fault, SSE have said.
It also affected traffic lights and some shops. In total, there were 1596 known affected areas.
Engineers were mobilised to fix the issue.
But power could be off until 7.30pm, SSE warned.
