POLICE are investigating reports that a man racially abused a member of staff at a cornershop in Weymouth.
Officers said the alleged abuse took place on Monday, March 29 at Joy's Convenience Store & Overcombe Post Office, in Preston Road.
A spokeswoman from Dorset Police said: "We received report on March 29 that a male customer shouted racially abusive comments at staff in Joy’s Convenience Store, in Preston Road, Weymouth.
"It's reported that the incident occurred some time during the afternoon.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
"No arrests have been made."
