A “WELL-LOVED” Audi Quattro is expected to sell for £25,000 when it goes under the hammer at auction.

The 1986 car with all but two MOT certificates will sell at the Charterhouse two-day online auction in Sherborne on April 8 and April 9.

Richard Bromell, of Charterhouse, said: “We have some great lots going under the gavel from a lifetime’s collection of cameras, a Rolex Submariner bought by the owner new in 1967 through to a 1938 cricket bat signed by the England and Australian cricket teams from the 1938 Ashes.

“However, for me the star lot of the auction has the Audi Quattro.”

The Audi at Charterhouse is a rare opportunity to buy a well-maintained four-wheel drive turbo 1980's icon with low ownership in a great combination of metallic black with a black leather interior.

The West Country owner, who bought the car 13 years ago, is looking to move to Scotland and contacted Charterhouse where it is expected to sell for £25,000-28,000.
