It is encouraging to see that Richard Drax (Dorset Echo, 27 March 2021) considers it ‘incomprehensible and unacceptable’ that the government still wields so much power over people’s lives.

Presumably therefore he will be vigorously opposing the new policing bill which is threatening to curtail the freedom to protest and to give the police more power to restrict demonstrations – an unprecedented attack on civil liberties.
