FOLLOWING the easing of lockdown restrictions, the National Trust is urging people to book in advanced if visiting their open sites.
The gardens, parks and countryside locations run by the National Trust are set for a busy bank holiday weekend.
And visitors are strongly urge to make sure they secure a booking before travelling as entry cannot be guaranteed on arrival without a booking.
In Dorset, the two sites where a booking is advised are Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy.
As of the evening of Thursday, April 1, Kingston Lacy still had limited space available in the afternoon on Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4.
While the house and kitchen are still closed at the estaet near Wimborne Minster, the park, garden, kitchen garden, toilets and café (takeaway only) are all available for visitors.
Corfe Castle has tickets available all day on Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4, at the time of this article being published.
The popular and historic Purbeck attraction's visitor welcome centre and tea room are open to compliment trips around the castle.
The shop is not due to reopen until April 12, subject to the easing of Covid restrictions.
Some National Trust sites are completely closed at present due to the current Government guidance.
This includes Clouds Hill near Wareham, White Mill near Wimborne Minster and Brownsea Island.
