SUSPECTED drugs were seized from a moped rider after police officers were concerned about their 'driving style'.
Purbeck Police carried out patrols across its patch, including Lulworth, Durdle Door, Wareham and Upton on Saturday.
But on their journey back to their station, the officers came across a moped rider.
Concerned about the rider, officers followed and stopped them. Police say 'an amount of drugs' were seized and the rider will be contacted by police again.
A spokesman for Purbeck Police said: "Purbeck Neighbourhood policing team conducted patrols around the patch on Saturday evening.
"Lulworth and Durdle door were all in order and traffic moving well. Skateparks at Wareham and Upton both had no issues.
"On our route back to the station, we followed a moped rider who caught our attention through their driving style. This subsequently lead to an amount of drugs being seized and and they will be assisting with further enquires."
