PEOPLE across Dorset are being asked to help find a missing teenage boy.

Police have launched a public appeal in the search for missing James McBride, aged 14.

James was last seen at around 12.40pm on Thursday April 8 in Kinson Road, Bournemouth, by a family member, before unexpectedly leaving the area. He has not been seen or heard from since.

James is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with dark hair that is shaved on the sides and longer on top. He was last seen wearing a black Puma tracksuit and black Nike trainers.

Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of Dorset Police, said: “James is not familiar with the local area and does not have a mobile phone on him and we are therefore becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen James or a boy matching the description given to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal James, please can you contact us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”
