POLICE are warning people to be aware of fraudsters after several people in Dorset fell victim to a Facebook scam.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "We have received a number of reports of people in the Blandford area being scammed after purchasing items over Facebook and paying for them via Paypal, which then were never delivered.
"We are investigating these incidents and would urge people to remain vigilant and use trusted sellers when purchasing items online."
