CITIZENS Advice is looking to recruit volunteer telephone advisers.
Citizens Advice East Dorset and Purbeck, an independent charity that provides free, confidential and impartial advice and support, is looking to recruit volunteer telephone advisers who will provide advice on a range of subject areas, enabling callers to move forward with their lives.
Full training and support will be given and telephone advisers will be based either working remotely from home or, when restrictions allow, working from the office in Wareham or Wimborne.
Mandi Douglas, advice quality and training manager, said: "Our telephone advisers are invaluable to us delivering our service to local residents. Since the first lockdown, the demand for our service is ever increasing and we need to be able to provide a level of service which can match this demand.
"No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as full training will be given. Once training is complete, we do ask that people can commit to a minimum of 8 hours a week."
