THERE have been eight new cases of coronavirus recorded across Dorset within the last 24 hours.
Government figures reveal that eight new cases have been recorded across the county.
The Dorset Council area recorded four new cases, taking the total to 11,810.
The BCP Council area also recorded four new cases, taking the area's total to 25,229 since the start of the pandemic.
Across the south west region there are 74 new cases, bringing the total up to 219,568.
A total of 1,495 new cases have been recorded across England - bringing the total up to 3,834,283 since the start of the pandemic.
Across the whole of the UK, 1,882 new cases of the Covid-19 virus were recorded taking the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 4,387,820.
