A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after falling off their bicycle on Portland.
Emergency services, including police officers and an ambulance, responded to a report that a cyclist was injured on Chiswell at 1.40pm on Wednesday afternoon.
It is believed that the cyclist had come off their bicycle near the junction with Brandy Row.
The cyclist was assessed by an ambulance crew who then took the person to hospital for further medical treatment.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at around 1.40pm on Wednesday, April 21 that a cyclist was injured on Chiswell at the junction with Brandy Row on Portland.
"It is reported that the cyclist had come off their bicycle.
"Officers attended with the ambulance service. The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.
"We do not have an update on their condition."
