Additional safety measures are being taken to ensure the health and safety of workers during the pandemic.

A spokesman from Dorset Council said: "Please be mindful of how you speak to our workforce, they are working within the government's guidance for construction activity, that it should continue where it fits with both the current Public Health England requirements and in accordance with industry safety guidance.

"We will do our best to keep you updated if our schedule of work changes."
