POLICE have warned residents in an East Dorset village of people firing catapults out the windows of cars.
Police have received reports of damage caused by catapults in the Cranborne area.
A spokesperson for East Dorset Police said: “We have had reports of damaged windows in the Cranborne area caused by ball bearings being catapulted at them.
“If you see someone being driven in a car and firing a catapult out of the window, please take a note of the car registration number and phone it in on 999."
