COASTGUARDS treated two women for broken bones following accidents near Swanage yesterday.
A woman slipped on the rocks and broke her arm at Peveril Point and a cyclist suffered a broken leg after falling near the top of Ballard Down.
Teams from Swanage and St Albans coastguard attended both incidents and handed over both casualties to ambulance crews.
A spokesman for Swanage Coastguard said the cyclist was in "considerable pain" and suffering from the effects of the cold by the time an ambulance arrived.
The casualties were transferred to Poole Hospital.
