I’m writing in the hope of contacting the family of a F/Lt.
Cedric Albert White RAAF (1916- 2008) who flew with 21 Squadron RAF over Malta during WW2.
Cedric passed away in 2008 at a nursing home in Poole, Dorset.
He was a close friend of my uncle, Sgt. John Henry ‘Jack’ Stubbs (1918-1942) who was shot down and killed over Malta.
Cedric married a Bicester girl in 1943, June Hale, and they had a son, Gordon David, in 1944.
After the war, they came out to Australia for a while, but in 1956 the family returned to the UK and Cedric found work there with BOAC. He never returned to Australia (except for the occasional holiday) and retired to Kent, and finally to a nursing home in Dorset.
His son married Susan D. Roulston (nee Woodcock) in 1971, in the UK, and they have four children, Roslynd Natasha, Lisa Jane, Kieron David and Ross.
Hoping you can help me.
