TWO teenagers charged in connection with a reported shooting near Dorchester involving a BB gun have appeared in court.
Dorset Police was called at 9pm on Sunday, May 9 by the ambulance service to a report that a man had been shot with a BB gun at an address on Long Ash Lane near to Wardon Hill.
The victim – a man aged in his 20s – was taken to hospital for treatment. He sustained minor injuries.
Chaim Mason, aged 18 of Dorchester has been charged with assault, aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Bradley Graham Jack Edmondson, 19, of Dorchester has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and aggravated burglary.
The pair both appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 12 where they spoke only to confirm their names, addresses and date of birth.
Due to the seriousness of the charges, Edmondson and Mason both entered no pleas and will enter pleas at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, June 14 at 10am.
Both were released on conditional bail.
