PATROLS have been carried out in an anti-social behaviour hotspot.
Yesterday, Weymouth and Portland Police conducted patrols in Lower Bincombe after receiving reports of cars being driven in an 'anti-social manner'.
Officers are encouraging members of the public to report any examples of motorists driving in a way which may cause distress.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Following recent reports of cars being driven in an anti-social manner in Lower Bincombe, late turn Public Community Support Officers (PCSOs) are carrying out targeted patrols in the area.
"Any persons located driving in manner which is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to members of the public, will be issued a Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002. This can ultimately lead to the seizure of their vehicle.
"You can make a report to us by contacting 101 or via the “Do it Online” section on our website. Any emergency reports are to be made using 999."
