A KEY route in Weymouth was partially blocked following a crash which saw a vehicle overturned on its roof.
Emergency services, including ambulance and police officers, arrived at the Jurassic Roundabout on the A354 Weymouth Relief Road before 3pm on Tuesday, May 18.
A silver car had overturned and landed on its roof on the slip road for the A354 Weymouth Relief Road.
Police officers closed the slip road to make the scene safe and allow a recovery vehicle to recover the vehicle.
The slip road closure caused some delays and congestion in the area, as motorists diverted around the crash scene.
A spokesman for Dorset Police confirmed a man had been taken to hospital following the collision.
He said: "We were called at 2.53pm with a report of a single-vehicle collision at the Jurassic Roundabout on the A354 Weymouth Relief Road.
"It was reported that the vehicle involved had overturned and was on its roof and the road was partially blocked.
"Officers have attended, along with the ambulance service, and recovery for the vehicle is being arranged.
"One man has been taken to hospital but we do not have any condition update at this time."
