A CAR has been seized in connection with the theft of catalytic converters.
North Dorset Police seized a Volvo yesterday as it was linked to a series of thefts of catalytic converters - a crime which is on the rise in north and east Dorset.
The car also had false number plates.
A spokesman for North Dorset Police said: "Catalytic converter thefts are on the rise in east and north Dorset. Through investigations and joint working with other teams, such as firearms and traffic, this vehicle linked to the series has been located and seized on false plates."
