CRAFT ale lovers are invited to a tasting event at a family-run brewery this weekend.

Copper Street Brewery is hosting a craft ale afternoon in Brewery Square, Dorchester, to give beer-lovers the chance to sample a selection of tipples.

The event, which will take place between midday and 8pm on Saturday, will be hosted outdoors, with tables available to seat up to 30 guests.

Anthony Buckton, from Copper Street Brewery, said: "We’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of support we’ve received since re-opening, and it’s been inspiring to see the square buzzing with life again.

"We wanted to help boost the lively atmosphere by hosting a craft ale afternoon, introducing new and existing customers to our variety of delicious homemade ales, porters, bitters, and stouts."

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: "Copper Street Brewery’s craft ale afternoon is the perfect way to celebrate the fast-approaching summer and beginning of the bank holiday weekend.

"We’re looking forward to introducing more exciting events to Brewery Square over the coming months, helping bring our local community together for a truly enjoyable day out."
