TOOLS have been stolen from a scrap metal yard.
Between 7pm on May 25 and 7.30am on May 26, entry was gained to Portland Scrap Metal Ltd on Wide Street.
A number of items were stolen, including two grey and orange Stihl TS 410 saws and a red and black Snap-on Impact Gun.
Police Constable Adam Chudley, of Weymouth and Portland police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant timeframe to please get in touch.
"I would urge residents in the local area to check their home CCTV systems for any footage that may assist my enquiries.
"Finally, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen items matching the tools described for sale locally in unusual circumstances."
