A COUNCIL van is blocking access to a car park amid damage caused to a barrier.
Weymouth Town Council said 'unauthorised vehicles' will no longer be able to use the car park at Radipole Park and Gardens after blocking the entrance amid the damage.

The barrier stops certain vehicles above a maximum height of 2.1 metres from accessing the car park.
A spokesman from Weymouth Town Council said: "Unfortunately the height barrier at Radipole Park and Gardens has been damaged and cannot now secure the site.
"In order to protect the park from unauthorised vehicle access we're closing the car park until the height barrier can be repaired.
"We apologise that the car park is not available but hope everyone appreciates the need to protect the site."
