POLICE seized a car initially stopped for speeding after the driver was discovered to have the wrong insurance.
He was targeted by the Dorset Police No Excuse Team on patrol in the Purbeck area.
A spokesman for the team said: "We had a fairly quiet evening despite the amount of traffic in the area.
"The vehicle was stopped for doing 45mph in a 30 zone on the High Street in Swanage.
"His insurance policy covered him for SDP (social, domestic, pleasure) only, but he was using it for business purposes.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver reported to court. Please ensure you have the correct level of cover for your journey."
