HAVE you been missing the buzz of bargain hunting?

Car boot sales are officially back on after what seems like a lifetime and people cannot wait to find a bargain. 

Whether you're looking for something in particular or hoping to find the next deal of the century, visiting a car boot sale is still a very popular pastime. 

Although eBay, Depop and Vinted may be handy sites to make a few bob, nothing beats flogging your unwanted goods at a boot sale.

Here are four car boot sales that are back on in Dorset:

Bournemouth Airport 

This brand new car boot sale has opened and is hosting sales every weekend, but be sure to check their Facebook page for more dates.

Dorset Echo:

There is no need to book a space as the car boot sale operates on a first come first served basis and sellers are asked to bring their own PPE to adhere to current COVID regulations. 

Buyers vehicles cost £1 on entry and sellers must pay £5 per vehicle. Buyers can start setting up from 11am and shoppers can enter from 1pm. 

One happy customer said: "Great carboot sale both days extremely well managed staff very friendly and helpful no traffic issues with separate exit."

The sale is located on Parley Lane, just follow the postcode BH23 6AD.

Dorchester Car Boot Sale

Dorchester car boot sale in the market car park are now back on every Sunday between 6.30am to 12.30pm.

Single pitches cost £8 and double pitches are £14, there are also table top spaces which are located inside that cost £7. 

There are toilets and hot and cold drinks available which allows you to make the most of a leisurely browse.

Farmer's Palmers 

Farmer Palmer's in Poole hosts car boot sales every Tuesday and sellers can arrive from 7am.

Pitches are 6m by 10m and cost £7 per vehicle, sellers are told to arrive in convoy if they want two pitches together. 

Dorset Echo:

Gates open for buyers at 7.45am - there is no charge for entry, free parking, refreshments, and toilets are available.

Stanpit Car Boot Sale

Stanpit  car boot sale is a regular market held throughout the summer on Stanpit Recreation Ground Stanpit (BH23 3ND).

The return of the Bournemouth and Christchurch Lions Club car boot sales has been warmly welcomed by residents.

This boot sale is reopening on Jully 11, August 8, September 12 and October 10.

Sellers can arrive from 7.30am, buyers from 8am - the sale goes on until the early afternoon with everyone packed up and away at 1pm. 

There's no need to book, sellers can just turn up. Cars cost £7 with trailers and vans from £10 to £12.
