THERE are concerns for the welfare for a man from Dorchester who has gone missing.
Michael Allcock, aged 78, is believed to have left his home address in Somerleigh Road at around 8am on Sunday, June 6.
Michael is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall and of slim build with short grey hair and a white beard and moustache. He is possibly wearing a navy-coloured jacket, brown trousers and a navy-coloured cap.
Chief Inspector Neil Wright, of Dorset Police, said: “Michael can become easily confused so we are concerned for his welfare and keen to locate him to ensure he is all right.
“Officers are currently carrying out searches of the local area in a bid to locate him.
“It is unusual for Michael not to have returned home yet and I am therefore appealing to anyone who has seen Michael, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch immediately.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Michael’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 6:201.
