A MISSING man from Dorchester has been found, police say.

Michael Allcock, aged 78, was believed to have left his home address in the town at around 8am on Sunday, June 6.

An urgent missing person appeal was launched, with police describing him as vulnerable and 'can become easily confused.'

Following a public appeal, Dorset Police has confirmed that Mr Allcock has been found.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Following searches, Michael has now been located safe and well in Dorchester.

"We would like to thank the public for their help in locating Michael."
