A PORTLAND man who failed to appear in court has had his trial adjourned to a later date.
Matthew George Brealey, aged 35, of Mariners Court, on Portland is charged with allegedly using threatening behaviour to another person on February 12 last year in Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth.
Brealey is alleged to have used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to intimidate.
The 35-year-old failed to appear at Poole Magistrates Court on Friday, June 4 for trial after he pleaded not guilty to the charge on April 13.
Brealey will next appear at Poole Magistrates Court on July 23 after the trial was adjourned.
