DRIVERS have been warned of a road closure as emergency services respond to a two-vehicle crash in north Dorset.
A driver has been taken to hospital as police, fire and ambulance services attend the scene, outside Keepers House in Sherborne.
Dorset Council's Highways team reported that Underdown Hollow is closed in both directions between Wyke (Sherborne) and Wyke (Wyke).
The incident affected traffic between Bradford Abbas and Sherborne, however traffic was reported to be 'coping well' with the situation.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We received a report at 7.24am on Tuesday June 8 of a two vehicle collision outside Keepers House in Sherborne.
"Officers are in attendance with the fire and ambulance services.
"The driver of one of the vehicles sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. Local authority has also been made aware due to debris on the road."
The road has now reopened.
