A NEW weekend market promoting small businesses in Poundbury is being launched next month.
The Poundbury Independent Market will be held on Sunday, July 11 outside Bonjour Café, between Babeny Walk and Hessary Street.

The street market will bring together the some of Dorset's best producers and will hold stalls selling locally-made crafts, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, artwork, food, and more.
Spearheading the event, Emma Teasdale, who runs Bonjour Café, said: "The event will be a way of supporting local makers and small businesses who have had such a challenging time during the pandemic.
"A great opportunity to visit Poundbury, with lots of lovely independent shops and cafes and free parking."
The event will run from10am until 4pm on July 11.
