AN URGENT search is underway to find a missing teenager who was last seen in Dorset nearly a month ago.

Yanqian Lin, aged 17, was last seen at the address where she had been staying in Bournemouth on Tuesday, May 18. She was reported missing on Thursday, May 20.

Dorset Police say the Chinese national is described as being around five feet two inches tall and of slim build with black bob-length hair and she wears glasses.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Bournemouth police, said: “While we have no information to suggest Yanqian has come to any harm and all indications are she left the address of her own accord, she has not been seen for some time and we are keen to find her to make sure she is OK.
