TWENTY-FIVE schools across the Dorset Council area have recorded Covid cases in the past week with many pupils and staff in self-isolation.

With infection rates increasing both locally and nationally, more and more children are being unable to continue their education in the classroom.

Dorset Council is reporting the latest cases on its website and says it is working with Public Health Dorset and all educational settings to manage any coronavirus infections that occur.
