A 17-YEAR-OLD girl suffering from an asthma attack was taken to hospital.

Paramedics and coastguard officers were called just after 11pm last night to help a girl who was suffering from an asthma attack near the PGL adventure camp in Osmington.

The girl was taken to Dorset County Hospital by ambulance.

A spokesman for Wyke Coastguard said: "Tasked by Solent Coastguard just after 11pm to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

"Paramedics were treating a 17-year-old female suffering from an asthma attack on the South West Coast Path just west of PGL.

"Once treated she was taken to the Eweleaze Farm end of the path. An awaiting 4x4 rapid response vehicle then transported the casualty to the road and transferred to an ambulance for the onward journey to Dorset County Hospital."
