Police searching for a man who went missing near Wool are appealing for help from the public in an effort to find him.
Shaun Carroll, who is 30 years old, was last seen at about 3.30pm today, Friday, in High Street in Winfrith Newburgh.
He is described as white and six feet tall with a long brown beard with moustache and very short hair. He is wearing a navy-blue top, jeans and walking boots. He is carrying a black rucksack.
Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “We believe that Shaun was very upset when he was last seen.
“In order to make sure he is safe and well we need to find him urgently. I am hoping somebody may have seen him and can help us to establish where he may have gone.”
