WEYMOUTH'S Community Safety Patrol Officers found an "impressive" amount of illegal drugs whilst visiting problem hotspots in the town.
The team has been carrying out outreach work during the recent heatwave, engaging with youths and vulnerable people.
A spokesperson for the team shared yesterday: "A lovely hot week for the team, lots of outreach work and engaging with vulnerable persons. Usual anti-social behaviour hotspots patrolled, engaged with youths and ASB activities, resulting in a find of an impressive amount of an illegal substance.
"Police called and handed over to be dealt with accordingly. Slightly cooler today and everyone is still having a great time."
