GREAT Britain have already got their hands on three gold medals since the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 began on Friday.

Tom Daley ended his long wait for an Olympic gold medal - after competing in four Olympic games - with a sublime display alongside Matty Lee in the men's synchronised 10-metre platform event at Tokyo 2020.

Team GB’s Tom Pidcock won gold in the men’s cross country mountain biking at the Tokyo Olympics, while East Midlander Adam Peaty won Great Britain’s first gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics by retaining his title in the men’s 100 metres breaststroke.

Alex Yee is celebrating after winning silver in the Men’s Triathlon at the Odaiba Marine Park today - while Bradly Sinden also won silver after losing to Uzbekistan’s Ulugbek Rashitov in the Men’s 68kg Gold Medal Contest at Makuhari Messe Hall A yesterday.
