Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition that damages the brain and spinal cord. The condition can be progressive and affects people differently varying from extreme tiredness to becoming totally disabled.

In Dorset today there are more than 1,100 people who have the condition, almost three times as many women as men.

MS Dorset is a group of volunteers who formerly covered the South West of Dorset and who now cover the whole of the county.

The group offers a wide range of information advice and, where appropriate, grants to individuals who have MS.

We are always looking to make contact new MS clients, especially younger people, to help them cope with their MS in any way we can.

Our activities start again on the 14th of September with a free fish and chip evening which includes a quiz, transport can be arranged.

We are also looking for new volunteers and for good quality bric a brac and soft toys for our fundraising stall.

If you can help, or would like to know more, please contact Graham, our Group Coordinator, on 07813 829474.
