A MUSEUM in Dorchester is set to host a series of events aimed at helping those with memory difficulties.
Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum, which is a Grade-I listed building, is launching a Memory Café - a relaxed drop in session for those with memory difficulties and their carers or family members.

The sessions will run from 10am until midday every first Monday of the month - starting on August 2.
Abbie King, director of the venue, said: "We're delighted to be launching a Memory Café.
"This is a really important asset for Dorchester and one we're very proud of.
"Being confined to your home shouldn't be a social norm. It can make a difference to people's lives."
Entry to the events is free.
