A POPULAR nightclub in Weymouth have been forced to temporarily close after staff members tested positive for Covid-19.
The Closet, based on Maiden Street, has been closed since Sunday after two members of staff tested positive meaning a number of other staff members have had to self-isolate.
Owner Jamie Crage said he was unable to say at the moment how long the venue will remain closed for.
He added: "It is obviously very disappointing - but we understand that we have to make sure our staff and customers remain safe."
It comes as a number of businesses in Weymouth announce they have had to close for similar reasons.
