I commented to a friend of mine that I had thoroughly enjoyed watching the opening ceremony for the Tokyo Olympics, to which the response was, “I don’t approve of these games going ahead while the pandemic is still not under control”.
This from someone who has spent the last month with his eyes glued to the TV almost 24/7 – watching UEFA 2020 and Wimbledon.
How’s that for double standards?
