A DRIVER behind the wheel of a Ferrari was stopped for allegedly speeding in the Weymouth area.

Dorset Police stopped the motorist behind the wheel of the supercar last night for allegedly clocking 102mph in a 70mph zone.

A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "En route [to Weymouth] the Ferrari below was stopped for 102mph in a 70.

"The driver, from Jersey, stated 'you don't get to drive that fast in Jersey'.

"The driver was reported to court."
