A CHILD was reunited with his 'worried parents' after he was reported missing.

At 1.13pm this afternoon, coastguard officers were called out after receiving reports of a missing child in Lyme Regis.

A spokesman for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "Lyme Regis Coastguard team was tasked alongside our colleagues from Beer to search for a missing child on the seafront at Lyme Regis.

"As teams were mustering, the news was received that the little boy had been found. We were lucky enough to be able to reunite very worried parents with their child.

"For emergencies on the sea, cliff, river, mud, harbour and beach, call 999 and ask for the coastguard."
