AS THE dust settles on what was an amazing weekend at Camp Bestival, details of next year's festival are released, with tickets to go on sale this week.

Roughly 30,000 people descended on Lulworth Castle at the weekend to enjoy four days of music, entertainment, shows, activities and food, as the festival returned for the first time since 2019.

Headliners included Fatboy Slim, Becky Hill, Groove Armada. Blossoms, Sara Cox, Mr Tumble and Craig Charles.

Curators Josie and Rob da Bank were thrilled to bring the family-friendly festival back after it was cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and they have expressed their gratitude to everyone that attended.

Rob da Bank said: "Wow, what a weekend. Josie and I always dreamt that our beloved family festival would happen again this year and you guys kept the faith in us too.

"Dancing and singing together in the green fields and open air was such a great feeling and high relief so thanks for sharing it with us and making Lulworth Castle and Camp Bestival burst with energy and happiness again. Travel safe and see you next year."

Next year's festival will take place between July 28 and July 31 2022. Early bird tickets go on sale on Friday, August 6 at 10am.
