Summer Sunday afternoons in Greenhill Gardens, have at last got back to normal.
Musical events on the Bandstand have so far have included the talents of Singer Tony Lowe and the great Wyke Ukedelics with their brand of ukulele playing.
The afternoon of the 8th August sees ‘The Voice of Cool Swing’ – Mr Darron Garnett entertaining locals and holiday-makers alike. This is followed on 15th August with The Friends of Greenhill Gardens’ Summer Special from 11am to 4pm. Groups, solo singers and dancers will be appearing in the Gardens on that Sunday.
Currently in the Gardens, Weldmar Hospice have a display of 100 Memory Jars containing messages about loved ones. They all light up at night giving a very surreal sight for the area.
