CARE home residents were delighted with a virtual tour of an iconic World Heritage Site.
Staff and residents from Trinity Manor care home in Sherborne were treated to a talk and virtual tour of the gardens at Blenheim Palace, a country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Having previously enjoyed a virtual talk by tour guide Antonia Keaney, the palace's social historian and author, the residents were pleased to learn more about the ground and gardens of Blenheim Palace, which is the only non-royal country house in England to hold the title of palace.
Antonia said: "I'm proud to say we have broadcast a total of seven live streamed events for Barchester residents and it has been wonderful that so many people have been able to join our talks.
"Blenheim Palace has such a fantastic history, we have thoroughly enjoyed being able to share some of its amazing stories with all the residents and patients through our series of tours and talks."
