I realise I may be in the minority here but I am astounded at the attitude of some people around travelling abroad and the possible need to self-isolate upon their return.
This pandemic is not new; we have had restrictions in place for over a year now and it is clear that the levels of infection may rise and fall depending on a variety of issues.
Any holidaymaker who leaves the UK has to know there is a risk the country they are visiting may have to be graded differently.
Rather than pay the money to go abroad, why not support tourism in the UK with the lovely counties around the country; if you choose to leave the UK whilst there is a world-wide pandemic, I have no sympathy should the need to self-isolate arise.
